UPGRADE HP HELP! HP UPGRADE HELP?

I got a hp dv9500 labtop a few months ago, windows vista home premium os. after a wild i got borded and gave it an upgrade then the computer started to log off on it own so i reinstalled windows 7 home premium, but when i did none of the features on the computer seems not to work including the aero thats why im asking, is there any computer wiz who has a degree who can help me ? without making fun of me
