HELP!!! I can not decide....?

Okay, well everyone at my school is preppy, name brand aero, american eagle, hollister etc. even the guys....and well me? Not so much I like random, crazy dark emoish stuff.....i guess u could call it sorta scene..but i dont label myself sooo..... yeh. Anyway, my friend told me tht for seventh grade I should dress girlier/preppier bcuz I look prettier like tht..and lik some days at school I dressed preppy just 2 c ppls reaction and lik wayyy more ppl tlked to me and ppl got way friendlier..i mean evry1 knos me..but lik wen i dress in my stuff ppl act lik its wrong......idk and i dont giv a hell what any1 thinks of me but still....okay for the question: Well again she said i should dress preppy in 7th grrade bcuz i look prettier and less "scary" but idk what to do!!!! help!!!! :0
