What do you do if your car is stolen at someone else reesident where you got busted for drugs?

the officer didnt impound my car instead they gave my car keys to the owner of the resident that i was at during a drug bust and i dont even know the owner.when i got out and went to get my car they said that they left the keys in the car and someone then stole my car.my car is in a friends name and i dont know the tag# or anything else on it .and now i cant get a hold of my friend for the info or to get them to report it.so is there anyway i can report it?
